@A myHIVteam Member I'll definitely let you know after he and I meet. I take so many other pills that a pill a day for me would be no big deal. But a lower side effect profile would be a good reason for me to opt for the shot.
I’m ok for now with taking a pill. I’ve taken a pill for blood pressure for years, so another pill each day doesn’t bother me. Also, my ID doctor is almost an hour drive. I wouldn’t want to have to take time off work every two months to get the shots. Also, I’ve checked and my insurance won’t cover the shots. Now if they ever come out with a shot that’s every 3-6 months, yes I would definitely do that.
Jay5 you are right just got back from my case worker and we are finishing the final paperwork to get on board with Ryan white act which will help me a lot thanks
