I only told my partner 5 minutes after I got the news. I’m keeping it to myself. It’s for me to carry.

My partner at the time and best female friend were in the room with me when I was diagnosed. My partner and I went to my parents house from the appointment and told them and both of my brothers. They all went to my next appointment so they could ask the doctor any questions and be more educated about the disease. (I was blessed and extremely relieved when my partner tested negative).

Am planing to say after 50 yrs

I only found out nearly a year ago--it was a tough end of last year coming into 2023. I've only told three friends and the person who infected me. No one in my family knows.

I never told anybody.
