No regrets just asking a question. Sometimes we doubt ourselves and we rethink our lives. Would you do anything differently other than what you're doing now?

Members reflected deeply on the question of what they would do differently if they were not HIV positive, with many sharing a mix of regret, resilience, and hard-won wisdom. Several members described wishing they had valued themselves more, stayed in school, sought therapy for childhood trauma, avoided substance use, or focused more on stable relationships rather than casual encounters. A recurring theme was that while HIV brought pain and challenges, it also became a turning point that led many to take better care of their health, get sober, and live more intentionally.

I would have pursued a relationship rather then one night stands.as you get older it’s hard to find the right person ex specially in this lifestyle.its better to be loved by one then be fucked by many

I would not have let "F*ck it!" become a way of life. I would have valued my own life more, and sooner. But, we always assume that taking an alternate road would have given us a better outcome. There is no way of knowing that, it could have been worse. I got into treatment, and focused more on my health than I would have if I had not tested HIV+. It also showed me that gay men can be more cruel to each other than empathetic. Nobody gets a pass on that BS.

I made lots of mistakes, but if I had to go back now, I would’ve stayed in school. And not let the world influence me as much as it did.

Yes. I would have woken up sooner, and took life more seriously. Other than that, I would not have changed a thing. Good question. God bless.
