I was hospitalized in july 2015, was in a coma for 3.5 months, put in a nursing home, and then given meds by g-tube for 4-5 months, i was NPO, no food no water cause of my trach and I was weak. I was in the nursing home for 4 years 8 months, for other issues , like a fused right big toe, and I was discharged by a hospital in chicagoland area from the nursing home, and I have never paid for my 8 or plus meds that I take, including blood sugar monitors, lancets, strips, alcohol swabs, etc.. vitamins as well were added recently, I never paid out of pocket for my PCP, infectious disease or ENDO or other doctors. I guess I am lucky.
