Members shared diverse perspectives on disclosing HIV-positive status when undetectable, with some advocating for immediate upfront disclosure on first dates to avoid wasted time and emotional investment, while others emphasized that timing is a personal choice that should feel right for the individual. Several members highlighted the practical importance of understanding local HIV disclosure laws, noting that legal requirements must be followed regardless of personal preference, and that being undetectable significantly changes both the medical and legal landscape. A recurring theme was the tension between protecting oneself from rejection and honoring a potential partner's right to make an informed choice, with many members emphasizing that honesty, though difficult, builds the foundation for any meaningful long-term relationship.

Hopefully before you have sex if you plan to keep them. Having HIV is one thing. A lie by omission is an entirely different issue.

Another thing people are not mentioning is, is there are still HIV laws in your jurisdiction, you must follow them first and foremost. You dont want to risk jailtime.

Lie about your name and tell about your status. If you got rejected, its fine, they dont know your real identity. But, If you got accepted. You can now tell about your real name. They could still forgive you and they would understand why you try to conceal your name.
