Religion and spirituality are two topics that are quite controversial in today's society. Even on this website , we have people who question what a soul and a spirit is. Do you believe in something other than yourself?

Members responded openly to the question of whether they believe in a higher power, with the vast majority sharing deeply personal accounts of faith that helped them survive their HIV diagnosis, addiction, loss, and other hardships. Several members described God or spirituality as the reason they are still alive, sharing stories of homelessness, suicidal thoughts, near-death experiences, and recovery, while a few members expressed doubt or a secular view rooted in science. A recurring theme was that belief, in whatever form it takes, provides hope and strength needed to keep going.

I most definitely KNOW that there is a God! It has only been through prayer and his daily grace and mercy that I'm able to navigate with through my life. Since my diagnosis I have wanted to give up many times but I just continue to persevere and know that this disease is not my end game. Nor does whole situation define ME. I am still blessed and wonderfully made through the grace of Jesus Christ. ❤

Thank you all for your continued responses. As you know we all have HIV on this platform and whatever method it takes for us to recover and live that great fulfilling happy life we shall do so. Like many of us here there is a God with in many religions, that does not mean that every religion is the proper one only it just means that there are a lot of people in this world that believe in something other than themselves.
