I did and was married almost 20 years before the cancer took her life. I'm single now but don't plan to stay that way.

Members responded with heart to the question of finding love after testing positive for HIV, with many sharing that love is absolutely possible and that status does not have to be a barrier. Several members opened up about their own journeys, including a 15-year relationship, a partner who fully accepted their diagnosis, and the ongoing search for connection while navigating fear of judgment. A recurring theme was the courage it takes to be vulnerable about one's status, the pain of past heartbreak, and the community's shared hope that love and acceptance can still be found.

Yes I found love after testing positive he is also positive but this relationship has lasted longer than any other I've been in 15 years now. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't find love after testing positive.

I'm not sure if it's love. But I did go on a date a couple of years after I got dumped by my boyfriend. (who didn't give me HIV)
But since being HIV positive, I'm not looking for love. And in Valley-Jo California, there are not a lot of straight HIV-positive.
But another reason is that I don't want to be hurt again or I need to focus on loving myself again after my diagnosis.
