Members responded with deep emotion to the question of what they would do if a cure for HIV were found, with many expressing joy, gratitude, and a desire to give back to others newly diagnosed. Several members shared personal journeys spanning 20 to 30 years, describing plans to pursue education, restart careers, write memoirs, or focus on outreach to help others avoid the depression and hardship they experienced. A recurring theme was resilience and hope, with many members emphasizing faith, community support, and the importance of living fully regardless of a cure.

I'd keep checking websites like this to see how it's working out for everyone in the real world. The same as I'm doing about the long term HIV injection. Unless it could reverse HIV's damage to my body. Cure neuropathy or something.

Personally for me I've had the virus for 30 years which is over half my lifetime if they found it sure which it is Eminem I would be out there doing Outreach for the newly diagnosed so their life would not be as tough as a long time having to live with this virus for so many years. It's not that's the servant part of that I would be out there helping other people you know those who are really getting depressed over the virus cuz I've been through the depression I've been to the Suicidal Thoughts and living with this virus is the stuff and I would not wish it on anybody but the newly diagnosed I would like to save them from having to go through that lifestyle just everybody take care of yourself State compliant and live your life to the fullest God bless you all have a wonderful day

I’m gonna keep on living just like I’ve been.

Well for me personally it's something I've been waiting for about 28 years now and I would welcome it wholeheartedly. I would first get the treatment for it and then re-start my health and get the job that I've always wanted and go back to school and complete my masters.

I have to disagree Paul ..with entertainers like Taylor Swift carrying millions of young followers. Our LGBTQ community, our black community. Our women and our Jewish community all combined are enough to beat the red right. Never Give Up..fight the good fight!!!
