I became ill with flu-like symptoms on 11/11/2022. On 11/17/2022, I broke out with sores over my entire body. During an ER visit on 11/20/2022 they cultured the spots and the results came back positive for Monkeypox on 11/20/2022. Currently, 11/30/2022, most of the sores are dried and many have dropped off leaving a residual red spot. New skin has yet to form over the scab area. Well, sexual contact is not the only way you can contact monkeypox you need to go to the CDC so you can read an all the ways you contract monkeypox.
