Immune System
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I got a cold a month ago and it only lasted about 36 hours and just recently I got a slight cut on my finger and it stopped bleeding in around 10 minutes. What does this mean for my immune system. I do recover from sight illnesses quickly.

I had liver disease and it stopped functioning in 2011 to the point I had to stop all meds until my t cells were at 340. But the liver regenerate and milk thistle helped. We can't take it with meds tho so be careful.

Don't worry too much. If you're on medication, nothing happens very fast with HIV.
