Does anyone here also belong to additional online HIV groups that focus on bisexual and gay men issues
Not looking to replace this group, I love myHIVteam and I’ve been a member since the first week I was diagnosed, but I do feel I need additional resources that I cannot get here.

Members connected over the challenge of finding HIV support spaces specifically for bisexual and gay men, with several expressing that while they deeply value this mixed community, certain topics feel more comfortable to discuss in spaces focused on shared sexual orientation experiences. One member shared the particular loneliness of bisexual identity, describing feeling pressure to be "strictly gay all the way" and living what feels like a double life, while another gay member offered solidarity by recounting his close friendship with a bisexual man and the frustration they both felt at the lack of acceptance within the broader LGBTQ community. Several members exchanged leads on Facebook groups and online resources, with a recurring theme being the desire for additional specialized support without leaving this valued community behind.

I belong to a couple on Facebook. They all seem to be pretty mixed. This one is the best so far. I do my research on YouTube( Don't judge me). There's are alot of excellent seminars online. .

Aloha my friend @A myHIVteam Member I know this is an older post from about a month ago. I feel the need to share, Mahalo!
What if we start our own? I suspect that there wouldn't be anyone, if at all, from Hawaii that would join but in the larger more populated states there must be people like myself and @A myHIVteam Member who usually just keeps to ourselves but at the same time would enjoy meeting someone with identical wants and needs while remaining low key about it.
I think that is my problem being Bi is I feel like I have to live a double life and it doesn't make me happy and I know it is also a state of mind for me.
The ruling majority is you're either gay or your not, there is no middle. I enjoy sex mostly with men but also with women who accept me and my baggage (HIV)
I don't feel motivated by what groups are out there at this time besides geographically I am at a disadvantage. I wouldn't know where to begin.

If you find something please let me know as well. Bi sexual life can be challenging and lonely for us single ones especially given where I live.
There are many great guys who live in Hawaii but I am under the assumption that I need to be strictly gay all the way before any friendship develops or even more. Maybe that's why I never met anyone yet. I put these roadblocks in front of me. I'm looking for roadblock removers I guess LOL!
Good luck and take care Brother. J

I am a gay man who has had good friendships with men who identify as Bisexual. A dear friend of mine would always lament about the challenges that he faced from the gay community. He felt that our friendship was rare and that frustrated us both. I never understood why it was so difficult for my other friends to be more accepting of him. I never thought about his sexuality because our friendship was a wonderful experience. We shared so much and supported one another. Friendship should always be a bond of men lifting up one another and inspiring connections that make us all stronger.
