Have You Found(a) Purpose?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Purpose....noun

"The reason for which something is done, or created, or for which something exists."

Have you, ARE you, marching into, and fortifying your purpose, or.... have you found one? Would like feedback please! Not a trick question, just my thoughts for discussion.

For me my purpose is to help as many as I can in as many ways as I can while still retaining my integrity as well as possible. This is why I see a counselor every other week to try to remain myself while helping and dealing with others and their needs Pastor David and I fail often regroup and continue

My purpose in this phase of life is to make sure all my survivors know they have a purpose. And that they are loved.

It's a general question and one that's quite personal to each person🙏
A purpose is broad and cannot be defined as one's life is not defined before it's end🙏💓🙏

I feel like I have found my purpose in life. It is to help support all those who are disabled in one way or another and to give information to them that would point them in the right direction if they truly need something more then just a online support group. During the time that I was employed by AOL for working in chat rooms and handling of message boards, and I was also a teacher doing the job of teaching those who are new to that program of working in a chat room, I had to teach them what they could do and what they can't do and other things that a person needed to take classes and had to pass those classes before they could begin working in the chat room or on the message boards. During that time while giving support in a chat room called "Disabled Support". I actually saved the lives of 2 people and if I had not been there those nights those 2 people would more then likely not be with us today. And I feel that God was working with me and making it known that this was his purpose for having me here so yes, I have found my purpose in life.

Thank you all. The purpose(no pun intended) has not right or wrong answer. I believe ones person indeed does revolve as life, and our experiences refine us. Its also my belief that each of us was born to a purpose. Not one thats necessarily of monumental proportions but, something needed by individuals that cross our paths.Theres a spark in each of us that can not be extinguished...even by ourselves. These are the thoughts that prompted the question. Wanted my mates to know I recognize that special spark in each of you, and that you are invaluable!
Please forgive typos. Didnt proofread for fear of losing post!
