Should I Take The C19 Injection?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

HIV positive since 1988, diabetic, and allergic to 2 injectables (Vitoza & Levimir), but can take Lantus. I have had a vascular ablation and stent put in, as well as 5 injections in each knee, a tailbone epidural and 2 neck injections. I take 21 meds and my T-cell count is always in the low 30's. My NP says it would be okay to take the injection for C19, but I would like a second opinion. I am nervous about taking the C19 vaccine. Can you or anyone help?

Do your research in order to make a informative decision for yourself
I have lupus, pulmonary hypertension and mental health issues.Taking 12 meds.faithfuly
Does the vaccine interfere with any if my meds. or illnesses
The doctors I've asked told me the truth "They don't know"
What could hapoen un the future if I take the vaccine, again " Honesty we don't know"" How does the vaccine effect HIV, they said " There hasn't been enough studys to say" I applaud people that took and are taking the vaccine
We all have a choose Right Now anyway
I prefer to watch and wait to see what happens next

The fear of the unknown is always there to hinder us from moving forward.
Do you get the annual flu shot? The C19 vaccine will more likely than not become an annualized injection like the flu shot. Because it is so new, nobody knows how any particular individual will react to the injection. This is the chance we all have to take, if you decide to vaccinate. Only you can decide with the help of your doctor. https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations
I hope this helps you to decide. Aloha my friend.
