Has any woman conceive a child after their diagnosis? How was it (emotional wise)? Was the baby healthy?
I ask because i gave up hope of becoming a mother after my diagnosis last year because i didn’t want to risk my baby being “POS” and i felt i would be a nervous wreck the whole pregnancy
if you want a baby or want another one, whatever the case may be, there is no reason for you to stop trying. you can have a healthy negative baby without passing on HIV. just keep in contact with your HIV doctor about your plans and they will help you get that baby you want, being hiv negative
Hi my girl she is negative 3yrs and healthy.Just follow your doctor's advice and appointment.
here is something to read up on

You can have a negative baby, so don't let not becoming a mom be an obstacle. You can have a healthy negative baby being HIV poz yourself.
Thanks everyone. I think maybe after another year of being undetected and prayerfully a better outlook on my situation..i will try again. I had stopped all fertility treatments and notified my specialist that i wouldn’t be back after my diagnosis. 😞 i got depressed and discouraged instantly. And the thought of harming my unborn child just made me sick. But i’m trying...❤️
I have been positive for 11 years now and have an incredibly high Cd4 count and have always had a high Cd4 1450+ Anyone else too?
I am curious to know how having a baby with the virus works. Can it be natural, if yes is your partner at risk of having the virus if you UU
