Has anyone had the opportunity to speak to their doctor, specialist, etc about taking the Covid-19 vaccine or not taking it? Im usually a little reluctant to take the first round of anything new as it is certainly a trial by fire in some cases. However, I'm not completley against taking the vaccine.
I realize it will probably be a few more months before the opportunity comes to take the vaccine but I will talk to my doctor about it and the potential risks.
My doc who is a global scientist and works with Africa and other governments in its clinical trials explicitly said that people with HIV should get this vaccine Whether you're New or old it's HIV and it's a virus and so is covid-19, they both must be suppressed 😷😷❤️🌈🤗🤶 the Moderna vaccine which is in the news today had HIV positive patients in its clinical trials 💋❤️💉😷
Im kind of scared because my job is offering me the phizer vaccine and im not sure how I feel about getting it.
I had this conversation with my dr. back when it started and they were actually looking for HIV patients to volunteer for the clinical trials. According to the infectious disease doctors at northwestern memorial hospital in Chicago Illinois, it's a go! 👍😷❤️🌈
But wait!
I've gotten strains of seasonal flu that were not included in our yearly vaccine. They have found another strain (3 now) of covid-19 in England 🇬🇧 and Italy 🇮🇹, I'm not being rushed, let's see how THIS plays out.
I will take it as soon as it is available to me but I haven't talked to my ID doctor.
