Whats the longest you have been single or relationship? What hardships have you endured on your journey? How you express how you feel in this particular time in life with your status?

My husband and I just celebrated our 16 years together on June 14th. Our wedding anniversary is the 16th of July (celebrating 5 years). Previous relationship was 8 years. Relationships have to have common interests, love, understanding, and compromise when you have an argument. A good relationship is work!!!!

So far since I've been a widow since March 27th 2018. I finally think I want to be involved but we are taking it slow. I feel free because I don't have to answer to anyone. I cook what I want without hearing a complaint. I sleep in my bed it's Queen size for this Queen. I love it until I need something moved or the trash taken out! Lol

I'm 33 and never had a relationship. There were moments spanning a month or two of dating but nothing more than that. I was diagnosed at 19 so i had moment where i cut myself from dating and threw myself in work and school to avoid the harsh reality of being rejected. Dating in the modern age is nothing like it used to be so. While its easier to connect from a technology perspective, it makes people harder to deal with emotional, in my opinion. They are more emotional by being exposed to more and it makes it harder to maintain and easier to move on. HIV seems to be less of a determining factor. I love or give more attention to loved ones, family or otherwise. I dont allow HIV to be seen as a vice and im finding more are becoming open to dating those with the disease. One day I'll have a chance to love someone that way they deserve and expect the same. Great question btw!
