Had anyone else experienced a very long latent stage before symptoms showed?

Yes then people like @A myHIVteam Member who got it faster than an arctic windstorm brewing across the Atlantic Ocean. Not everyone is the same. I read recently (by recently it was like 2 or so years ago) there are people who now have gone 20 years with no symptoms, are combating the virus with no meds. Others, all you have to do is look at someone and you're infected with high viral loads. We all have unique bodies and each body responds differently to the virus. What may happen to one person may not happen to the next.

@A myHIVteam Member they do have life insurance for people with HIV. Just type in a search engine, "life insurance for people with HIV," and it will give you a list of places that will cover you
