My boyfriend and I are planning to start a family (exciting but also terrifying for a few reasons). I am looking to connect with other people (or groups) that can provide support and answer questions. I am finding that not all medical providers are informed on the latest (treatments etc.) and there's still a TON of stigma out there even within the medical community...has anyone else faced this? (I also have a history of repeat miscarriage; I am female and he is male, pos.)
Talk to your treatment team and ask to talk to a counselor that can steer you through the maze. My understanding is it should not be a problem. I am not giving a medical answer, just from my personal experience with clients that I have worked with.
Your HIV doctor should be able to answer your question

- Medical Consultation: Consult with healthcare providers who specialize in HIV to discuss your options and ensure both your health and the health of your future child
