It has made me a kinder and more respectful person. Not to mention all of the kind and caring people it brought into my life.😀

Although HIV was a devastating experience, it was also a blessing. The positive side to it was that I had the opportunity to grow in the HIV/AIDS field as an advocate and HIV/AIDS counselor and tester when i started years ago to now as a Substance abuse counselor for people with and without HIV. I've met amazing people who really need our services and more amazing people who continue to fight for all our rights.
