Now that the pharmaceutical companies have found a way to keep us alive for 30+ years with a one a day pill,what’s the incentive for them to come up with another pill. Wouldn’t it makes sense for all scientists,pharmaceutical companies etc to now spend all their effort to find a cure. Has anyone asked their doctor about monkeypox yet?
I just sent an email to my doctor to see if there was any kind of vaccine for it. From what I have read so far, it does not look like there is, but the smallpox vaccine is 80% effective against it. 80% is better than 0%.
Would you get a monkeypox or smallpox vaccine to try and prevent monkeypox?
Something I should have learned 22 yrs ago

Good morning, how are you doing this morning
Undetectable sounds great on paper however we are still like those who don’t have this disease.we can get non hiv health issues that everyone on the planet gets.anyone dealing with medical issues unrelated to hiv that affects them.and does having hiv make it harder to control your other conditions?
@A myHIVteam Member. Yep.
I was just researching covid vaccines. NONE of them are FDA approved. Instead they are EUA, emergency use authorization. The issuance of an EUA is different than an FDA approval (licensure) of a vaccine.
Im having weird side effects like constant headaches , dizziness , nausea and my left side feels limp! What should i do???
It does seem that the meds cause problems, but they are better than they were yrs ago. But most still have negative effects.

Now that they have found a new strain in England 🇬🇧 and Italy 🇮🇹, I will have to revisit my decision. Too many times I've gotten a strain of the seasonal flu that wasn't part of THAT year's vaccine… read more
Thinking about this because @A myHIVteam Member just talked about a sore arm from vaccination, and partner & I are headed for vaccination today for flu & covid. How many people have a regular reaction to vaccination? I do every time (sore arm, feeling crappy). My partner, on the other hand, rarely has a reaction. I think that if I have a reaction, I needed the vaccination, otherwise the real thing would have been much worse. My partner says, "The reaction means your body was already primed… read more
Just a slightly sore arm that didn’t last long at all.
