Is there anyone on the new HIV injection medications? If so, how is it working out for you and where there any issues switching over. My physician is starting to talk about possibly switching me from Genvoya to the injection med.

I'm currently on oral medical Odefsey, have been for years. I'm happy with it. My Infectious Disease physician is happy with it. During follow up visits he does mention the injectable Cabenuva. To me, I think I'm ok with Odefsey. My doctor says it's just as good. Aside from having an injection every so often compared to taking pills daily, what are the pros and cons of an injectable?

He also said that the pill form will not be effective enough to prevent it progressing to AIDS. The question I am asking is he telling the truth or not?
