Normal Life Span For A 28 Year Old On Biktarvi?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Ive been so depressed and saddend that I infected my ex , who is only 28, in part because I feel like I might have robbed him about 10 or 20 years of his life because I am assuming his Biktarvi pills will wear on his liver and kidney eventually, shortening his life span by about a decade or so. My heart ia having a very hard time thinking I robbed this guy of a good handful of years when he gets older because his kidneys or whatever will be worn down sooner due to the meds. A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

My opinion on the matter is as followed: first retire the word AIDS it is a dirty word and causes stigma. From now on advanced HIV should be used. Next undectable is everyone under 200 regardless of what lab you use. There is no evidence that I can find that says your healthier below 20 viral load then at 199.so we need to stop… read more

People Lie?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I truly believe in the good of people however when it comes to HIV I have my doubts. I contracted HIV by a guy who said when I asked if he was clean and negative he said yes. Well guess what he wasent.of course maybe he never got tested and had no idea he was carrying the virus. When I go on the evil Grindr or the other apps you see many say negative and on prep. Hmmm but how do I believe them. Or they say tested negative in 2023 in there profile.Hmmm what have they been doing since then. Your… read more
