Should the term "AIDS" be retired? I think @A myHIVteam Member might have mentioned this, but this is the first time I've seen it on Medscape.
Is AIDS just advanced HIV infection, or would eliminating the term give the impression that it's no longer a problem?

I have seen many long term survivors posting on this site. I also was part of a panel board and one of the speakers was like 95. He has been positive since the early '80s. Can the HIV treatment extend life more than what it could have been if they stayed negative?

Although months away, would you isolate yourself again or get the vaccination? Does a treatment in the meantime , satisfy your concerns?

If a genie knocked on your door and said I’m here to give you three wishes however the genie says I can’t take away your HIV or cure it. But all other wishes will be granted. What would you ask for? My first wish would be can you make everyone with hiv not be sad or depressed. My second wish would be can you get rid of the stigma that comes with my disease.and my last wish will be Im giving it to someone on this site who might need the wish more then me🥹
