I, from my own experience. Have developed major anxiety disorder aftet my diagnosis. Ive been in a mental unit 2 times now. The biological affects dont really cause it in that way. Having hiv, the stigma, the isolated numb feeling you suffer silently inside. Its a life long disease currently with no cure. Id be shocked if you didnt develope any anxiety.
