That would be great !!
I’ve read that those of us on once daily ARVs might be a thing of the past in the very near future. Many studies are showing real promise that injectables are going to be the new gold standard treatment.we have cabanuva currently but from what I’m understanding soon there will be more injections options where one injection a month is all that’s needed. I’m on the fence on whether I like this option. Taking 1 pill a day is not a big deal but it’s a reminder every day that you have this disease… read more
Now that the pharmaceutical companies have found a way to keep us alive for 30+ years with a one a day pill, what’s the incentive for them to come up with another pill. Wouldn’t it makes sense for all scientists, pharmaceutical companies etc to now spend all their effort to find a cure. In 15 years from now biktarvy, dovato will lose there patents and these pills will me made by many different companies in generic form which will drop the price for these drugs dramatically?no longer will they be… read more

Ok so this could be a continuum of the last question I posted about sun exposure. But I will just make a different post. Since this is on my mind now (because I JUST DID IT), I had another question about how to take your medication
A lot of the HIV pills you must take with food. What if you are in a position to where you can't eat but must take your pill? Do you take your pill without eating? Do you find a quick bite to eat somewhere or somehow

It infected by day 7 and went to urgent care, get treatment. But my question is do we need to approach wound care differently? If so, how?
Thanks @A myHIVteam Member. It is healing slowly but surely.
My question is, How do people without HIV run the HIV programs and tell us, "It will be ok" or "I'm sorry to hear that". They have know I deal what it takes to keep going and being the strongest mentality and physically in day to day life.
That is a very excellent thought provoking and limit pushing question, and we need so many more of these

I’m noticing so many young women joining us here from around the world. While I welcome them, I’m sad that their infection wasn’t avoided. I see advertisements constantly encouraging HIV negative gay men to go on PrEP. I know gay men whose doctors encouraged PrEP. Perhaps I’m just missing it, but I don’t see the same push for sexually active women.
Yes
