Hi @A myHIVteam Member I’m in a mixed diagnosis couple also ( I’m POZ he’s NEG) and luckily for us he was already on prep when I was diagnosed so he was safe from the start.
Here is a comprehensive article that should address most of your concerns and give you guidance. I suggest sharing it with your partner: https://www.healthline.com/health/hiv-aids/tran...
If you are already undetectable then your partner is already safe but as @A myHIVteam Member stated the safest way to make sure is to have them on prep or Pre-exposure prophylaxis too and the chances are for all practical purposes is zero for transmission.
In the meantime condoms would work until you are both fully covered by meds.
The first couple times I had sex after my diagnosis I had a fear I might transmit it, but I remembered what my doctor and others on here said and left the fear behind and now I’m back to an enjoyable sex life. All in the last 18 months.
Get educated, take the necessary precautions then get back to having fun. Don't let this stupid virus or anybody dictate how your going to live your life.
