Has Anyone Thought About Estate And/or End Of Life Pre-Planning?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Not to be morbid, but Estate and End of Life Pre-Planning is something we all should consider. My partner and I completed this about 10 years ago. The Pre-Planning for Funerals is transferrable to anywhere we are, within the US. A friend of ours owns a Funeral Home and did our pre-planning for us and to our wishes. I urge everyone to consider this as it removes the guess work out of your final wishes. It also alleviates the burden of a family member or friend having to plan and finance your… read more

@A myHIVteam Member @A myHIVteam Member. I'm no authority on the subject, but here in NC, the Funeral homes suggest Pre-Planning. We were in our early 40s and our friend John (funeral home owner and Director) would ask us periodically to come in to do the Pre-Planning. We had a friend pass suddenly and around our age. We were at the funeral home and John came up and said, Ok guys. Can I schedule you to come in to meet with me? We immediately said yes. It was a solemn time, but we knew it was something we needed to do to make sure our wishes were met.

good morning Aaron and thank you For your question. This year I finally met with an attorney and filed my last will in testament along with my medical information and my power of attorney.... after several hospitalizations the doctors at the hospital also advised that it's in my best interest to do so not because of anything that's over looming just in case ,..you never know. ❤️🌈🙏🤗

Hi Aaron, I lived in Orlando from 2001-2007. I had a young goth friend that was 20 and died from AIDS at his mom's house. He didn't have a good support system and was just tired of being human.

I understand. But age should not be a deciding factor. My thoughts go back to Orlando and the loss of young lives there. It's never too early to pre-plan or pre-arrange. 😁😁😁 Although planning gives peace of mind and a bit of security, you will have the ability to change the planning as often as needed.
