I dont socialize anymore. I run around being healthy as possible. It ceases to amaze me how fearful they are. Now i dont talk to them, i made it clear i dont want to talk to any of them.
What should i do now in such a small town?
@A myHIVteam Member I live rural Nova Scotia Canada. The fight for survival was far less difficult than dealing with stigma and ignorance.
Having lived 15 years on the other coast in Vancouver with a huge gay community was easier.
At the moment, I have realized my life is not my own and am looking for a bachelor for in the city.
My home is in a very rural town, in Florida and I have lived there since 2000. I am now serving in a church outside of Tampa. I had only a few problems associated with me being HIV+. I help to establish and HIV in person support group and found that, though a few were ignorant and nothing I said mattered, for the most part most were very accepting of me. We can educate but we can't change stupid ignorance. I hope and pray things get better for you and know that we here at My Team are here for you. Pastor David
I have no true friends in rural Nova Scotia. I have no interest in educating then any more than socializing with them.
I have no advice but you have people that understand
