This have been eating at me for awhile. Even though we are no longer together, had some issues ... I don’t want him not knowing or unknowingly infect others.

Thank you everyone for your support. I’m home and my heart does not feel heavy anymore. I told him, I’m hiv positive and want him to be safe. He said he recently had a checkup and is fine. Expressed that regular blood work wouldn’t pickup hiv antibodies. He thanked me. Laughed and said “you have nothing to worry about, it’s not a death sentence, Chances” He proceed to give me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. Said he’ll always be here for me.
