If I Switch From Atripla To Biktarvy And Have Any Issues Is It Possible To Switch Back?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed in April 2019. I started Atripla right away and was undetectable within a couple of months. Have had nearly no side effects. Now my doctor wants me to switch to Biktarvy because it has less risk of long term effects. I agreed but haven’t started it yet. I’m a little anxious about changing from something that is working well.

I was on Atripla and had horrible night terrors and had to take another pill at night to fight those, my doctor switched me Biktary several months ago and have had great results, no side effects. It's a difficult decision so consider your options until your comfortable with your decision.

Had a drunk who was mad at the world come to my house and bust every thing up in a black out rampage. I tryed to defend myself and home and fought him. I pulled glass out of my legs and forearms the next day.
I started getting light headed and night sweets.
Was exposed to TB and tested positive for TB and HIV at thsame time
Turns amThe motherfucker that wrecked up my place has aids and wont do anything about it.

I dream of killing hin every day. I lost it all because of him.

I take biktarvy and have a few side effects. Bathroom trips freq, no energy and sore throat are the main ones. Please keep me updated on your switch. I might try to switch to the one you were on if you notice a difference. Thanks for sharing.
