Can The ID Doctors And Lab Work Narrow Down To How Long A Person Was Infected With HIV.

In my case I had no symptoms. I’ve never been sick with the flu, no rashes or hospitalized. I found out Bc I wanted to be transparent about my sexual well being. My pervious partner did step out on our relationship and I had one unprotected sexual encounter after.

Although you have HIV or may have it, it's not really anything to worry about. We have all been in your situation being diagnosed, we all were shocked, worried, scared. Now we have this for awhile, it honestly isn't anything to worry about. Pretty much the only time you think about HIV is when you take your meds or get freaky with someone, sometimes the side effects of the meds too. Other than that, we pretty much dont think of HIV. There are some people who continually dwell on their HIV, but that isn't good for your health. You need to be in control of your HIV, so that the HIV can't control you.

I guess im one of the lucky ones. If you can call itlucky. I was diagnosed after being exposed 2 months prior. It took a few months of tests and scheduleimg apts to be put on biktarvy. I was undetectable in 3 months. At first it drove me crazy and its all I could think about. ALL THE TIME!! But with time and learning a lot it is managable. I do have night sweats sometimes and less energy some days, but ill also be 58 in a few months so its hard to say whats HIV and whats age. Lol. I do have a better appriacition of life now. Good luck to you at the dr. Keep us posted. ❤️❤️

I had the same concerns. I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago and was told that based on my numbers i had been infected for 5-7 years. I hadn't experienced any symptoms until about 6 months before my diagnosis - hairloss! Lol. I was so conscientious of cutting myself and exposing everyone! And to add to it, i was on blood thinners for a full year after my dx! Scary
