Paranoid
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I had a stem cell transplant done with my own cells about a month and a half ago. I havent had any complications but i feel like its taking forever to recover. My docotor says its normal and itll take a bit longer. I asked him if the hiv had anything to do with it he said no as long as im taking my pill how i should im fine. Im just a bit paraniod because i still cant eat solid foods correctly they tast so nasty when i try to eat them. Has anyone else been through this? Help!!!

that depends on what your cd4 count is. sure being undetectable is good, but undetectable with a low cd4 is going to take you a lot longer to recover than if you had a higher cd4.
