Aloha! I received my 7th or maybe 8th low dose Chemo treatment today and my Oncologist wants to keep going. Thx for the message! I’m also from the Bay! I lived in the city for about 20years then it was time to see more and Hawaii was always my top choice so here I am! Yea, unfortunately I’m fighting both at the same time. I read that I have what Freddie Mercury had, HIV + Kaposi’s Sarcoma (KS). Before I started with the therapy and HIV meds, the doctors did expect my CD4 count will be affected including weight loss. So that shows I’m on the right path to getting better. I did think twice about getting the tattoo started since the skin is damaged and probably should let heal. So you live in Hawaii, and also fighting cancer. We should be friends.
Believe it or not I fought cancer before I was HIV. And I actually still have my port. My guess is I took 7 chemotherapy, did I lose my hair. But then again I was fighting breast cancer so.
I think your condition, you may need to let the chemo therapy runs out of you before you have any tattoo plans because it may be a wastealso your body need to heal from the damage it made. Also I did came back from Hawaii this Monday
