A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I was dating this older ex drug addict for 6 yrs and he was in and out of prison for our entire relationship but one day when he got out the last time I was going through his health results paperwork and it said that he was positive for HIV and Hepatitis C but he convinced me that the results were false and like a fool I never got checked back then even though we were intimate plenty of times unprotected before I found the paperwork. Ignore that, kinda, I was am in that situation. To me that is one of those things that you really gotta look in and find out why you want to do that. Trust me I have thought about doing everything just short of that and I spend nights sometimes dreaming of bashing his f'n head in but I would still have AIDS and he would still be denying it. Know one ever really thinks that the person would have HIV and not take meds or be in denial of if to his detriment or his significant others. You learn all that after you get it. Give it time baby girl. You'll still be mad for a while, just not as mad.

Hello dear i understand that situation is not easy for you.For some people take advantage with weak people. But i think you shouldn't report him but just tell him that what he did is not right and if you hear that he has another relationship you will go and confirm if he disclose to another partner or not if not take an action. But for now let God deal with him cause even if you report him that it won't change your results.

Hope my answer is useful to you.

Nope, you saw the evidence for yourself and willfully stayed ignorant that's like going to the Dr's with someone and hearing the results and deciding to ignore them. Just let it go and move on with your life.
