Everyone is on their own path. Only tell who you're comfortable with knowing. Their is no "right" answer. Take care.
Hello Ms. Everlyn. I understand you very well and went through this back when I first tested positive. Which now seems like the ice-age. I had to learn that not everyone needs to know my status and until you feel comfortable enough to share it with others of your choosing. Than just remain as you are and one day it will happen for you. God knows it took me awhile.
Best wishes!!
Thanks My new family..live continues i appreciate alot
If your healthy why the need to share it with the world. It's your medical condition and If it weren't HIV would you feel the need to disclose. My dr told me at the end of the day it is my decision and I ha e told only one person. And I think I will keep it that way.
I don’t disclose my status and only my doctors, my wife, kids and one close friend know my status. It’s no ones business but mine and I don’t feel the need to let the whole world know. I accept that I am hiv positive, but I will not let it define me or stop me from enjoying life. Yes, it has its effects like restrictions on some employment opportunities, travel to some countries and medical issues like feeling tired and nausea. I’m sure at some point it may come out that I have HIV due to someone I know working at one of my wife’s or my doctors office, medical lab or for some other reason and I will deal with that when and if it ever happens. For now I don’t really worry about it and just try to enjoy life
