Of the many important things for me, now that HIV treatment has advanced and people are no longer dying left and right like in the 80's, is the social stigma of being POZ or as in my case, living with AIDS C3, and what I can do to help erase social stigma in the world.
As a person living with HIV/AIDS today, what is the #1 most important issue that you care about?
I love your outlook on life. It's great to see others who have HIV/AIDS being happy. I recall having spent many years hating myself to the point I was suicidal. I started sharing my story openly as my way of dealing with depression and my own self loathing.
Today, HIV is part of me, just like having skin and legs and hands. I have HIV, HIV doesn't have me.
I hope you had a woderful day. :)
making myself just as happy as i can, ionly think about it when i'm on here but then it doesnt really bother me anymore,
It is so awesome that you and your husband have such a wonderful relationship and healthy relationship with you being positive and I just come in both of you so much you have my utmost respect and admiration. I'm the other front as with anything that is Progressive there's always more people holding progress back then moving it Forward unfortunately in government.
Well thank God were no longer dying but the day i found out i had aids i was just so emotional avoided everyone was afraid my husband would blame me or leave me but he didn't so the saying wat doesn't kill us makes us stronger is so true but im also happy and mad at the government one im happy cuz we still living but mad cuz looked how many people had to die before we got to this point its so wrong
It figures we're talking US GOvernemt who does not want a cure to be found so we all just die.
