Are There Any Recovering Alcoholics On Here That Are On ART And Suffer From Any Mental Illnesses?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I’m a recovering alcoholic who’s had hiv, which progressed to aids, for about 4 years. Before I was diagnosed I had no mental illnesses but now I have been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and ptsd, depression, etc. I’m really concerned with my health because I feel like I’m dying everyday. Are their any others who can relate? If so how are you able to cope with it. I also smoke cigarettes heavily and am running out of hope.
