HIV+ since 2010. 51 yo. Undetectable, good health besides osteoarthritis making full hip replacement necessary schedules mid-May but possibly soon if slot available. Always been active and loved walking dogs, hiking, and no issues with weight or fitness. Over the last 18 months the joint has become increasingly painful and despite rest, PT, diet adjustments to avoid inflammatory foods; the decline nosedived ≈ 3 mos ago severely limiting my mobility and in desperate need of relief.
